The second annual outdoor showing of the movie “Jim Thorpe: All-American” was held on the evening of August 21st, 2015. Approximately 250 attendees from the Carlisle Barracks and greater Carlisle community enjoyed this first film in the 2015 Strategic Art Film Program which is a formal and complementary U.S. Army War College education program, coordinated by the U.S Army Heritage and Education Center with support and sponsorship from our AUSA CB-CV Chapter. Hershey Company and Turkey Hill donated treats and drinks.
Thank you to the Army Heritage Center Foundation, the Carlisle Barracks Garrison, and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department for supporting this event. And a special thank you to our own AUSA Chapter Board Member, Col (Ret) Scott Buran, for initiating and taking the Chapter lead to make this event a reality the last two years.
