In recognition of Asian-American & Pacific Island Heritage month, Carlisle Barracks and the Strategic Studies Institute sponsored an art contest for area grade school students inviting them to create a picture that depicted an aspect of Asian-Pacific heritage.  The artists also submitted a 50-75 word description of their project.

On May 25, 2015, the Carlisle Barracks and Cumberland Valley Chapter provided $25 awards for the three winning artists:

Awards were presented by the SSI Director, Professor Douglas C. Lovelace, Jr.
