As of January 2023 – Unfortunately, the chapter is not able to offer scholarship awards this year and has suspended the scholarship program until further notice.

The Carlisle Barracks and Cumberland Valley Chapter awards annual scholarships to deserving students who are Chapter members or a Chapter member’s dependent.

AUSA CBCV Scholarship Application 2022

Scholarship eligibility:

  1. The applicant must be a CB&CV Chapter member or be the legal dependent of a Chapter member.
  1. The applicant must be a high school senior or undergraduate freshman accepted at or attending a college or university in a four-year program leading to an undergraduate degree.
  1. The applicant must complete and return the enclosed application together with the three specified attachments no later than May 31.

The Chapter Board will convene a Scholarship Panel composed of AUSA members in good standing who will review all applications and recommend primary and alternate scholarship recipients.  All applicants are evaluated based on demonstrated leadership qualities, academic qualifications, and demonstrated potential.  The goal is to select well-rounded students who combine academic excellence with leadership abilities that show high potential to serve as future civic or military leaders.

The CB&CV Chapter Board of Directors will approve all awards.  The Board typically authorizes one top prize $1000 scholarship plus additional scholarships of lesser value based upon panel recommendations.  For 2019, twelve students received awards that ranged from $150 to $1000.
