Chapter Supports Red Land HS JROTC “Raiders”

Thank you for your membership and continued support!  Largely through individual and corporate member contributions, the Carlilse Barracks and Cumberland Valley Chapter of the Association of the United States Army is able to support activities like the Red Land High School Junior ROTC Program “Raider” Challenge.

On October 25, 2017, COL(Ret) Ed Murdock, Chapter VP for ROTC Affairs, presented a check to Red Land’s JROTC Cadet Battalion Commander, Sarah Feigle.

Raider Competition or “Raider” as it is more commonly known, is a very popular athletic competition held within Junior ROTC programs around the United States. It is the Junior ROTC equivalent of the Army ROTC “Ranger” competition in college, only far less dangerous but very challenging as well!

The Chapter works closely with high school JROTC and college ROTC organizations in the chapter’s area of responsibility.  We are proud of our association with these young, dedicated men and women as they work to establish themselves as future leaders of our Army and are happy to support them any way we can!
