Chapter Recognizes Carlisle Barracks Soldiers and Civilians

The Carlisle Barracks and Cumberland Valley Chapter was honored to recognize some of our most valued Carlisle Barracks Soldiers and civilian employees at the Spring Awards Ceremony that was held on Monday, 15 May 2017 at the Carlisle Barracks Letort View Community Center.

In a ceremony that was hosted by US Army War College Commandant, MG William Rapp, and Carlisle Barracks Garrison Commander, LTC Greg Ank, more than 20 employees were recognized for excellence.  Among the many who received awards, the following group were selected to receive special recognition for their excellent service during the specified time period.  The Carlisle Barracks and Cumberland Valley Chapter also presented each recipient a cash award and a two year free membership to the Association of the United States Army.

2016 Civilian of the Year: Mr. Todd Wheeler, USAG, DPTMS ($250 plus free 2-yr AUSA membership)

FY17 Civilian of the QTR, 1st QTR: Kaleb M. Dissinger, U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center ($50 plus free 2-yr AUSA membership)

FY17 Civilian of the QTR, 2nd QTR: Mr. Dwight Wimer, USAG, PAIO ($50 plus free 2-yr AUSA membership)

FY 17 NCO of the QTR, 2nd QTR: Staff Sgt. Matthew Rosenkranz, Receiving NCOIC, Defense Distribution Supply Point, Defense Logistics Agency, New Cumberland, PA ($50 plus free 2-yr AUSA membership)

FY 17 Soldier of the QTR, 2nd QTR: Private 1st Class Daysaundra Price, Chaplain’s Assistant, HHD, U.S. Army Garrison Carlisle Barracks ($50 plus free 2-yr AUSA membership)
